For our long-term client Medcon International / Werkgroep Cardiologisch Centra Nederland, we have been providing full technical support for over six years. With this client, we often cross borders, having worked at several international venues. The annual WCN Congress is always a highlight and a perfect way to close the season.

The WCN Congress takes place annually at the Mövenpick Hotel in Amsterdam and lasts two days, with around 400 participants attending. MNT STOKER is responsible for all audiovisual technology across all rooms. In five breakout rooms, we install all equipment for the sessions led by various speakers. There is also a morning House of Commons debate—a lively session featuring discussions on a wide range of topics.
In the main plenary hall, this involves setting up numerous screens and calibrating the audio so that every participant can follow along perfectly. In addition to the on-site event, we also facilitate the online hybrid event, recording and live streaming everything over the internet so participants at home can join. This allows even more people to attend the congress without being limited by the venue’s capacity.
After the congress, it’s time to celebrate! We provide all the technical support to transform the hall into a true party venue, including setup for the band and/or DJ. Each time, we follow the same successful formula—but at a different location. We have supported the WCN Congress at venues such as Het West-Indisch Huis, Tropenmuseum, and Pakhuis de Zwijger.
